Welcome!

Please feel free to browse my website where you will discover all things musical with which I am involved. For bookings, please note that I am based in the West Midlands. I have been performing solo concerts since 2004 and more recently I have become heavily involved with a number of local theatre companies as Accompanist or working in the orchestra pit, playing either keyboard, percussion or lead guitar. I raise money for various charities including Cancer Research UK, Chernobyl Childrens' Life Line and Help for Heroes. There is a full list of the charities I have supported in the 'Past Events' section. I play the Church organ for weddings and baptisms and I am also a member of the Wolverhampton Youth Orchestra playing percussion and violin and the Wolverhampton Youth Wind Orchestra playing percussion. I have toured Slovenia and Northern Italy with these orchestras. I am also Assistant Accompanist for the Gentlemen Songsters Male Voice Choir. You will also find musical events in which Maddi Belsey-Day is involved in the 'News' section - scroll down to see her concerts with Worcestershire Youth Orchestra and Worcestershire Youth Wind Orchestra, as well as concerts at King Edward VI College, Stoubridge in which we are both involved. Maddi plays flute, bassoon, piccolo, piano and has a beautiful voice and in 2010 she went on tour to China with the Worcestershire Youth Orchestra as well as to Northern Italy with the Wolverhampton Youth Orchestra.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me with my musical life to date and attended my concerts and encouraged me along the way. In particular these are Debra Jones (piano), Lesley and David Woodyer (piano, violin, orchestra and music theatre), Keith Sedgebeer (orchestra), Michelle Perry (violin), Catriona Roberts (piano), Geoff Ockendon (guitars), Noel Lee and Reverend Jean Spragg (church organ), Julian Powell (percussion), Michael Cotton and Karl Babarczi (Music Theatre and orchestra pit work) and all of my friends in the Gentlemen Songsters Male Voice Choir. I am also thankful to Maddi Belsey-Day and Simbi Akande for their support and commitment. I also want to thank the hundreds of friends I have made through my involvement with the various local theatre companies and the youth orchestra. Additionally, I wish to thank Tom Pankhurst and Iain Estell at King Edward VI College, Stourbridge, for the opportunities and support they have provided.

I will be beginning my BMus (Hons) Degree Course at the Birmingham Conservatoire in September 2012 where my first study will be Percussion.

Please use the tabs on the left to view information about me. The 'News and Concerts' tab contains information about my forthcoming events including solo concerts, work for various theatre companies and other musical engagements. The 'Blog' contains information about other activities other than my musical ones such as my interest in wildlife. The music you can hear is one of my compositions entitled The Toy Room, a piece recently performed for the first time by the Wolverhampton Youth Orchestra.

Thank you for visting my website - I welcome your comments through the 'Contact' tab and look forward to hearing from you.
